My own journey started long ago in personal fitness and performance, which taught me the importance of healthy nutrition. What I thought was healthy, at the time, in my mid twenties, put me face to face with a doctor who told me that my thyroid levels suggested that I should go on medication.

I went on a deep dive into my diet, did plenty of research, and confirmed with one of my graduate professors in Nutrition Science that I likely was not consuming enough iodine to support my thyroid. So I started to regularly eat seaweed for its natural iodine, and three months later my blood tests came back normal.

That was the first time that I realized how we can use food as medicine and that an individualized and balanced approach to nutrition is vital. Following this I intuited that there was so much more I could learn and share than what was being taught at a regular University.

This feeling, coupled with my spiritual practices, led me to enroll in a Taoist University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This truly holistic and ancient medical system, which cultivates body, mind, and spirit, hit home. It deepened my understanding of the true meaning of well-being, while furthering my spiritual  studies and practices tremendously.

Over the years I have expanded upon those studies and practices and experienced first hand how our diet and lifestyle not only affects our physical and emotional well-being, but also our spiritual evolution. I am here to help empower you on your wellness journey as far as you are longing to go—your potential is limitless.

About

Carmela Wolf's academic background includes a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine and postgraduate studies in Nutrition Science. She has over three decades of experience in clinical and community health care.

Carmela is a sought after health lecturer and her expertise has been frequently called upon in television and radio interviews. After selling her clinical practice at the end of 2023, Carmela is now traveling and working remotely via telehealth appointments.
